Hi, I am Sophie.  My previous owner decided one day he didn’t want me anymore.  I don’t know what I did wrong but I will try to be better.  The rescue is going to help me find just the right home.  I am a Maltese mix and I weigh a little over six pounds.  My birthday was just a few months ago and I turned one year old.

   My hair is very soft and was tangled when I got here so they had me shaved.  It will grow back and I feel much more comfortable but you will have to keep me groomed in the future, ok?  I don’t shed if that helps.  I love food and it calls to me.  I can play with other dogs but when you are around I prefer to have you to myself if possible. I haven’t had a single potty accident but could use a few manners if you want to teach me.
