Hey, hey, hey, come over here and look at me. I am Joey.  I was found in a rural area and no one could find my family.  So here I am at the rescue looking for a new forever home.

Weighing about four and a half pounds with a long body I am a chiweenie.  That means I am a mix between a Chihuahua and a Dachshund.  Young, happy and funny I am a little over a year old.  I need some work on my manners I guess.  Grabbing your pant leg when you walk by is fun but no one seems to like it so I need to learn to stop doing that.  I was just trying to get some attention. Having you pick me up, giving you kisses or playing with you is all I want.

I like everyone I meet furry or not.  If that cat runs I will chase him because it’s fun!  I was neutered; micro chipped, vaccinated and am current on flea, tick and heartworm preventative.
