Hello, my name is Nina. I weigh less than six pounds and am about 10-12 years old. I came here to the rescue when I really needed help. See I had a lot of very painful tumors on my chest and a mouth full of rotten teeth. I had surgery right after I arrived and I feel so much better now.

   I heard them talking about lab results so the tumors were not cancer and I was so relieved. I have four teeth left in my mouth but no infection there anymore. The nice vet said I do have a heart murmur so now I take medication for that. I am a fighter, so to speak, and I need a forever home.

   I am quiet and loving. Having my belly rubbed relaxes me and I absolutely love it when you give me a kiss. I like other dogs, kids and and am not afraid to explore. It would be best if you don't let me get over heated or spend too much time outside. I know how to use a doggy door or a potty pad.

   When I went to the vet I was spay, micro chipped and vaccinated. I will have to stay on medicine the rest of my life so in addition to grooming expenses you have to plan on 30-40 dollars a month for medications.
