Update September 2012: I am in prison!!  Yes, I am in a dog training prison program.  I live with a prisoner 24/7 and he is teaching me wonderful things.  When I graduate I will be house trained, crate trained and obedience trained.  Plus they are teaching me acouple of tricks to show you.  See you when I get out.

Hi, I am Roxie.  I am about seven months old, weigh 25lbs and have a rough coat.  I came to the rescue after a nice man found me screaming with my head caught in a fence.  I will admit it wasn’t one of my smartest moves but I really wanted to play with those dogs inside that fence.  Anyways he had to take the fence apart to get me out and here I am.

I love life, I love being alive, I love everyone!  I think toys are great but you are better.  I can take my paws and swat at you for attention or use them to pick up stuff.  I just get so excited I just have to touch you.  Please can I give you kisses?  Can I play with other dogs you have or I’ll take you all for myself?  I just can’t wait to see who wants me to be part of their family.

I have had two rounds of puppy vaccinations, am spay, micro chipped and current on heartworm preventative.  They don’t think I will be a very big girl maybe 30-40 lbs. at most but the vet says I will be solid.  Is solid good?  I hope so because that’s me, a solid fun loving girl.  I want to do whatever you want to teach me as long as we can do the learning together.
