Emma here, so nice to meet you.  I am a rough coated, twelve pound little girl with a deep voice.  Yep, if you are looking for a big dog sound I have it but only when it’s needed of course.  I came in as a stray to a small local shelter and my time was up so I came to the rescue.  Why is it that people just don’t look at black dogs?  My foster mom says I am beautiful and sweet too.  Can you look past my coat color and love me just because I am me?  I hope so.

I went to the vet and was spay, micro chipped and vaccinated.  I even tested negative for those nasty heartworms so I started on a preventative too.  I just go with the flow so to speak. I do need to confess I go nuts over squeaky toys.  I can't help myself, they are so fun.

 I like to play with the other dogs and don’t give anyone any grief.  I carry myself proud and confident but inside I am just a soft hearted teddy bear.  When my foster mom picks me up and gives me kisses I am not sure what to do but I sure like it.  Once I gave her a kiss back and it felt good.  Honestly I just want to be loved and safe with a family.

I went to a 6 week in house dog training program and graduated.  I am house trained, crate trained and obedience trained.  We could go on walks together and I would behave just perfect for you.
