Hello, I am so pleased to meet you.  My name is Lucy.  They think I am a two year old dachshund/pug mix.  The “designer” name for me is a “ daug”, kind of silly huh?  Oh well, I weigh about twelve pounds and am housetrained.   I will go the door and bark to go outside to potty.

    I was left at my house after the family just moved away, no food, water or shelter.  I was ready to forgive them so I waited but they never came back for me.  A nice lady that was painting the house for a new family called the rescue and here I am.

  I like most people, other dogs and kids too.  I love to sit on the couch if I am allowed.  Car rides are fun too.  I think of myself as a pretty easy going girl.

  I went to the vet and was vaccinated, tested negative for heartworms, was spay and micro chipped.  So I am ready for a forever home.  All you have to do is go to www.dogsasfamily.com and fill out the adoption application for me, Lucy.  My adoption fee is 150.00 and I could be home with you tonight.
