Sam here.  I am over three years old and weigh about twelve pounds.  I've got things to do so I'll be brief.

   I had the world at my feet, literally.  I was living downtown with a lady and the whole area was ours.  We slept where we wanted and sat on benches or walked around with her shopping cart.  One day I was standing in the street and some lady in a car stopped and asked if I belonged to the lady on the bench.  She said I did but she didn't really want me at all...well who needs her anyways!  The lady in the car took me and here I am at the rescue.  End of story.

   I am pretty busy and someone actually called me bossy.  Yeah, I think I like to be the boss, well at least of the furries.  If you reach and startle me I'll jump straight up in the air.  I guess I am having a little trouble turning off the high alert I'm on.  I will admit I do like to sit with you and be petted.  I'd even let you carry me around for a while but don't get too mushy.

     I went to the vet and had my vaccinations, was micro chipped, neutered and I am current on heartworm and flea/tick preventative.

     My adoption fee is 150.00 and you can fill out an application at www.dogsasfamily.com.  Don't bother if you don't want a man that can handle anything including to sound the alarm when someone I don't know comes to the door or yard.  Maybe we can cuddle when I am done?
