Hello everyone, I am Owen.  Right now I weigh about fifteen pounds and I am seven years old.

   I came into the rescue about two years ago when my old family had a baby and didn't want me anymore.  My last adoptive family was getting a divorce and they decided not to keep me either.  I want to be part of your family but do you think you could want me in your family forever?  Well before you decide I'll tell you a little about myself.

   I keep pretty busy and I like other cats and dogs.  I am not really fond of small children and I like to lay on the back of the couch.  If you let me, I will sleep on the bed with you.  I am housetrained and I like baths and grooming.  I will confess I don't really like car rides or being left at home alone and playing  in water is fun.

   I have been neutered, vaccinated and I am current on flea, tick and heartworm preventative.  You will have to have me groomed regularly and I don't shed.  My adoption fee is 125.00 and you can fill out an adoption application at www.dogsasfamily.com.
