I am Sugar and I am here to tell you about myself.  I may sound like I am a confident lady but I just get through each day.  I am about four years old and I have seen a lot in my years on this earth.  Let me back up a little...

    I came to the rescue with a group that were all living in a backyard and we were glad to get out.  Five of us were pregnant and ready to give birth. 

    I had a rough birth and I miss my babies terribly.  Sorry I got ahead of myself again.  When I started to birth my children things went wrong, very wrong.  My first sweet one was born dead, then the second too but my labor stopped.  They gave me medicine and I ended up having a c-section...two more dead and two barely alive, then it got worse.  I started to bleed and turn very pale.  I had an emergency transfusion.  The lady from the rescue held me and told me to be strong and she would help me.

    My two babies laid by my side and grew weaker and weaker, they passed away during the night.  I had six children and now I only have them in my heart.  I was so sad and tired.  I didn't even want to eat.  Then they did more blood tests and I found out what happened.  I tested positive for something called Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. It is a tick borne illness and it's treatable.  I started medicine and I am feeling so much better.  I can't even remember the last time I felt this good physically but my heart still aches for my little ones.

   I love being a mother and I will mother anyone that comes along and needs me.  I like to sit with you and cuddle and I am housetrained. I found my smile again and I'd like to share it with you.
