Hi, My name is Banjo.  I weigh less than five pounds and I am called a Chorkie.  What a name...it is a mix between a Chihuahua and a yorkie.  Well at least that is what they think I am.

   The last few weeks have been a little rough for me.  Have you ever gone through a rough time?  Then you will understand. 

   Things started out pretty simple, I was moved from a rescue in the southern part of the state up to Oklahoma City.  I was really enjoying myself then I made a goofy mistake...

   I was outside with my foster mom going potty and showing off.  You see I have long legs and I like to prance around and play.  Well anyways I wasn't watching where I was going and I banged into the edge of the porch.  I screamed like a girl!!!! 

   Well I broke my front leg.  Both my ulna and radius.  They treated me so kindly at the emergency clinic and again at the surgeons office.  I had to have surgery and they put a plate in my leg.  I am resting now and I hate it.  I want to be up playing around.  I like other dogs and cats.

   I have been neutered, had my teeth cleaned and a few baby ones pulled, am vaccinated and I am taking medication for a skin infection.  I am waiting to have my stitches taken out next week. 

   Hopefully someone will want a little boy like me.  Oh I almost forgot to tell you I had a birthday recently.  Yes, I turned one year old on March 12th.  So I guess I am considered a man now.
