Hello! My name is Trinket. I am a four year old female that weighs about 22 pounds now. They think I am a Schnauzer mix. I came to the rescue very overweight for my little body and still need to lose another 8-10 pounds. I was sad when my dad went to a place where people could take care of him and the “family” took me to the shelter. I am over that and I need a new family to love.
I am a very happy, talkative lady. I like everyone I meet and would love to be social with you. Maybe we could even make a good therapy dog team, you know where to you take me to visit other people? I can sit up and beg with those sad doggie eyes so please don’t feed me extra or give me too many treats until I lose more weight. I don’t seem to shed and will need to be groomed. I like other dogs, cats and kids. Running around in the fenced yard is fun but I am a house dog so don’t leave me in the yard. I know to potty outside and will use a potty pad if you are gone for a long time. I absolutely love stuffed toys. Swinging those around is a real hoot for me!
I am vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. I am also current on heartworm, flea and tick preventatives. My adoption fee is 250.00.
