Look who it is! Me, Bailey. I am a senior Sheltie that is looking for a loving home.  I am over eleven years old and weigh about 40 lbs. I was adopted from the rescue as a puppy but my mom got something called cancer. She loved me so much that she thought it was best I came back so I could share my love with another family.  Maybe I can share my life and love with you?

   I don’t do anything fast but eat my supper or treats. I have always lived inside with my family.  I do enjoy a stroll outside to potty and to follow you around the house.  I am an easy going, loving boy though I can get nervous with sudden loud sounds or storms.  You don’t have to invest in toys because I really don’t care about them.  I do like other dogs, kids and a cat is probably ok too. Not much of a talker unless I need to briefly tell you something. I did test positive for something called Ehrlichia, a tic borne illness, but have been treated for that. I have some mild hip dysplasia but other than that I am pretty healthy.

   I am neutered, vaccinated, micro chipped and current on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives.  My adoption fee is 100.00. The first step in adopting me is to complete an application for Bailey at dogsasfamily.org. I need you and promise to stay by your side for as long as I can.
