Look who it is, me Riley! I know my picture looks very stern but I am not that way at all. Actually I have a smile on my face most of the time because I am a happy. I am a two year old male that weighs about 11 pounds. I came to the rescue after my family left me on the side of a busy road and drove off. I chased the car but I couldn't catch it. Thank goodness a nice lady who saw everything stopped and picked me up. She called the rescue and here I am.
As soon as I got here they took me to see the vet. I tested positive for a tick borne illness called ehrlichia and they treated me for it. So more about me...I can run fast in the fenced yard and jump high! I am very smart so make sure the fence is secure or I will go say hi to the neighbors. I can pull the Kleenex out of the box really fast, oops maybe I shouldn't do that. I admit it, I am a bone hog. Every morning I get up and gather all the little chew bones and take them to my bed for later. I love to play fetch and I will find anyway possible to lick/kiss you or nibble on your ear lobes. I like my belly rubbed and to cuddle with you. I am house and crate trained. Everyone has shortcomings and I have been honest about mine so my foster mom wants me to tell you even with mine I am a really great dog! They are part of my personality.
I have been vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. I am also current on flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. My adoption fee is 250.00. The first step in adopting me, Riley, is to complete an adoption application at dogsasfamily.org. I dream of my life with you and promise to tell you everyday how much I love you.
