Hey, what's up?  My name is Ladybird.  I am over six years old and weigh about 36 pounds.  I have shorter legs, docked tail and am colored like a heeler.  I came to the rescue after my dad went to a place called heaven.  I don't know where that is but I know he was a kind man so it must have a lot of people like that there.  I miss my family but am ready to find a new adventure and family.

Food calls my name, treats too.  I came from a home with older children and other animals, so I know cats, dogs and even a pot bellied pig.  I like men and dance to greet them although they keep telling me "four on the floor" because I jump up a lot.  I like toys and chew bones.  I can get bored so hopefully we can go on walks or play together.  My ears...well they are up and then down, sideways and one the opposite of the other.  I guess you can say I express myself with my ears.  I am happy, playful and absolutely love belly rubs.  I know to potty outside and am vocal when I need to go.

I have been vaccinated, spayed and microchipped.  I am also current on flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.  My adoption fee is 175.00.  The first step in adopting me, Ladybird, is to complete an adoption application at dogsasfamily.org.  Is your life dull and boring?  Do you need a sparkle of joy and fun? Then adopt me Ladybird!
