Hi there! My name is Sweet Pea and yes I do have ears. I just hate that camera thing and put my ears back just about every time they pull it out. I am a shihtzu that is about two years old and I weigh maybe eight pounds. I confess, I love food so we might have to watch my weight. I came to the rescue after I was taken to the shelter in very bad condition. My hair was matted and so long you couldn't see my face and I had a big hernia that needed medical attention. I was so happy to see the rescue lady and am glad to be with the foster family here.
I love to lay in the sun in your fenced yard and "bake" a little. I will dance around to get your attention. I am very sweet and love to show my affection to you. I like to play and have been around other dogs and cats. Actually, the honest truth is I would love to have you all to myself or if the other fur kids can handle me, I am a little bossy. I know to potty outside or to use potty pads inside. If you put me in a crate I consider it mine and don't want the other fur kids around it. I love to play hide and seek and to cuddle up next to you or be carried around.

I have been vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. I am also current on flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. I have had two surgeries to fix my hernias. Now, I look and feel much better.
