Hey there, my name is Chewbacca but you can call me Chewy too. I am an eight year old long haired chihuahua.  I loved my mom very much but she left and went to a place called heaven so I need a new home.

Other dogs are ok but I have been an only dog most of my life so either way might work out just fine.  I like just being with you or can share you too.  Maybe we could sit and watch TV or something?  I have been in a quiet home with no children.  Car rides are fun and so are stuffed toys I can carry around.  It time for me to admit I really need to lose weight.  I have lost some since I came to the rescue but I could lose another three to five pounds by just eating right. It would be best if you had a fenced yard for me to potty and sometimes play in as a collar or harness really don't fit well right now.  I am house trained and I don't take any medications except for preventatives.  I am starting to get cataracts.  Normally my coat is long if you can keep it brushed, for now it has been cut shorter.
