Hi.  My name is Jaxs.  I am about eight months old and I weigh a little over 10 pounds.  I am a chihuahua mix.  My people decided they didn't want me anymore and surrendered me to the animal shelter.  I honestly don't know why they couldn't love me anymore.  I know I could love you.

I want nothing more than to make you happy.  You are the world to me.  I would love to cuddle with you and promise to give lots of kisses.

Learning is something I really like.  Could you teach me some things like good manners and tricks or something?  I am ready, willing and able!

Sometimes when the sun is bright and warm I like to lay outside in the fenced yard and "sun" a little.  We could sit outside together for awhile but please bring me back in the house. I am not a yard dog.

I am crate trained and have been working on my house training.  I still have a few accidents so we will have to keep working on that but it won't be long.

Kids are ok if they are older. Other dogs are great if they play a lot because I will want to play with them.

I have been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.  My adoption fee is 175.00.  The first step in adopting me, Jaxs, is to fill out the adoption application at dogsasfamily.org.  I can hardily wait to love you.
