My name is Tessa.  I came to the rescue with three other dogs after we were left outside in an ice storm.  I'm a 9 month old female terrier mix that weighs roughly 9.8 pounds and my siblings are older.  My fur family Raven, Manny and Bruno have heartworms but not me. So I am ready, willing and able to find a new home.

I enjoy running around, play, play, playing, a good chew bone and a warm lap to nap on.  I love playing with my foster parents and my fur siblings.  A routine makes me more comfortable. I like my crate but would rather sleep with you.  

I'm almost house trained with only having an accident every now and then. However, if I get super excited I might tinkle a tad. My foster Mom and I have been working on that. If I had to, I prefer reusable potty pads than disposable pads. Not that I need them but I'm not a fan of the plastic tray.  It would be much better if we could just finish the work on my housetraining, I am almost all the way there.
Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. Dinner interrupts my play time but I'll nibble at it as I run by a dozen times.
You should know that I'm fearless and I will protect your heart with all I've got.  I will smile for you when you rub my belly.
