Hi there, oh hi!  My name is Jessie.  I am a female klee kai or miniature husky.  I weigh almost 24 lbs. and am about eleven months old.  Don't let my pictures fool you, I stand just over sixteen inches to my shoulder.  I lost my home unexpectedly when my mom went to a special place called heaven.  I came to the rescue with my fur brothers Dakota and Cowboy.  Dakota is bigger and I didn't bother him much but Cowboy is smaller than me and I chase him all over if given the chance. We don't need to stay together and I am ready for a new home.

When I first got here you could see my bones sticking out and I only weighed 15 pounds.  I was very hungry then, but not anymore.  Actually, I filled out and look pretty healthy now.  No, I am not huge but I do have fluffy coat so I look bigger than I am.  I absolutely love to give kisses.  I am small enough to be easily pick up but be prepared for a face cleaning and ear nibbling.  I can be stubborn and pretend not to hear you sometimes.  I know how to sit and am a quick learner so please teach me lots of things!  I am very curious, quick and agile.  I do know to potty outside but sometimes I get busy and forget so you might need to remind me for a while still.  When we go outside I love to sniff out things in the yard and won't hesitate to dig a hole to get to them if I need to.  I am very interested in toys and balls so maybe we can play. I do have plenty of energy and will need exercise or entertainment.

I have been spayed, microchipped and vaccinated.  I am also current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative.   I have had a sensitive stomach and have been doing best on a beef based food.  My adoption fee is 350.00.  The first step in adopting me is to complete an adoption application for me, Jessie, at dogsasfamily.org.   Happiness, amusement, activity and love, that is what I can offer you, are your ready?
