ADOPTION PENDING
Hello.  My name is Colin. I am a male nine year old that weighs about twelve pounds and I need to lose some weight.  See, I was recently returned to the rescue and have gained too much weight while I was in a home. I orginally came to the rescue when I was picked up by the animal shelter people when my mom went to heaven.  It was a scary and sad time for me.  One minute I was sitting on her lap and the next she was gone.  All these people came with sirens and wanted to touch my mom.  Next thing you know I was taken to the animal shelter.  My life as I knew it was over.  I just sat there depressed.  The rescue lady came and talked to me, gave me cookies and told me should could help me find a new home so I left there with her. I was adopted for two years but my new mom said she her life has changed and didn't have time for me anymore...so I need a new forever home.

I like the other dogs my size and supper.  Treats are great too.  I haven't met a person I didn't like except I am not sure about really young kids as I have never been around them and they move fast.  They think I may be a Norfolk terrier mix but no one is for sure. My coat is scruffy and soft.  I know to potty outside and would love to sit on your lap.  I watch where you go and will follow you around.  I like some toys but am generally a quiet boy.  I am looking for someone to love, is it you?

I have been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.  I am current on heartworm/flea and tick preventative.  My adoption fee is 125.00.  The first step in adopting me, Colin, is to complete an application at dogsasfamily.org.  I promise to stay by your side forever, no matter what.
