Hi, hi, hi!!  My name Is Rusty.  I am 10-12 months old and I weigh sixteen pounds.  They said I am a what's called a blonde Schipperke mix.  The blonde can go as dark as a red and that's what I am.  I came to the rescue after I was found and taken to a city shelter.  They called my person and she told them she didn't have time for me anymore and that she wasn't going to pick me up. You can't make someone want you but I hope you will.

I am still a puppy at heart.  I like to explore, follow you and play.  You can hear the clicky clack of my feet as I follow you to see what's up.  I think it's my job to sound a big bark to protect you if I hear a strange noise, if someone I don't know comes over or a person with a beard shows up.  I can jump high when I get excited.  I am a quick learner and know how to sit or laydown already but we will need to keep working on other manners and my potty skills.  It's not that I don't know to go outside to potty it's just I don't know how to tell you.  See, I can only sit or turn in circles at the door for so long before I just have to go.  Toys of any kind are wonderful!  I like other dogs but I play hard and sometimes they don't like that.  I am a great cuddler after I have played for a while.
