Hi, my name is Riley. I am a seven year old male schnauzer that weighs over 22 pounds. I came to the rescue from an abuse/neglect situation and I needed help. When I got here I was very itchy, had an infection and a lot of hair loss. I am slowly getting better and am looking for a home that can love me and take care of me when I need them.
I am a very easy going guy. I do talk when I get excited or want something. I admit my voice is a little high pitched but I am so excited sometimes I just can't be quiet. I appear to be house trained and crate trained if you need me to stay there sometimes. I like everyone I meet and crave your attention. When you talk to me I will tilt my head and listen closely. I am loyal and loving. My hair is so short right now I will need a jacket to go outside when its cold.
I have been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. I am current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. I also had my teeth cleaned and polished. My adoption fee is 150.00. The first step in taking me home is to complete an adoption application at dogsasfamily.org. I may not be perfect but I know I could really love you, can you love me?
