Hello, my name is Jesse. I am about a year old chihuahua that weighs 6.5 lbs. I came to the rescue with my brothers Danny and Joey after a woman called and said we didn't belong in her house and to come and get us. I don't know why my mom didn't want us anymore. I am a quiet loving boy. Are you looking for boy for a calm and quiet home? That's me!
I am a house pet but I confess I love it outside in the fenced yard. Just to lay and bask in the sun or play is wonderful. I am cautious of new people. The way to my heart is a few treats and a belly scratch and we can be fast friends. My big brother bosses me around and I am scared of him and some other things too. They say I have a gentle spirit and don't like a lot of fuss and noise. I would rather just cuddle up in your lap and hang out. If your lap isn't available I will snuggle in a blanket or bed. I know to potty outside but you need to remind me. I need a home with older children or adults only.
I have been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. I am current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. My adoption fee is 175.00. The first step in taking me home is to complete an adoption application at dogsasfamily.org. Remember to save some treats for me please.
