Hi, my name is Simon. I am a one-year-old Yorkshire terrier that weighs about eleven pounds.  I was found and taken to a local animal shelter and my old family never came to claim me so the rescue said they are going to help me find a new family.  I was very matted and never appeared to been a part of a home before so this is a new experience, I am more than pleased with this new life.  Are you going to be my new family?

    I am a happy, busy and playful kid.  When I am excited, I jump up and down to get your attention.  I like most other dogs but can get a little bossy sometimes.  You know it takes to learn to live with others and to live inside a house so I am still working on house training.  Quite honestly, I get busy playing or looking for your attention and stopping to potty is the last thing on my mind.  Maybe we could set up a routine to help me remember?  I do need exercise and then I can sit back and relax with you.  And of course, I will need to be groomed regularly.

   I have been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.  My adoption fee is 250.00.  The first step in adopting me, Simon, is to complete an adoption application at dogsasfamily.org.  My heart is just racing thinking about being part of your family.
