Hey everybody, my name is Murray. I am a two year-old male Labrador retriever. They say I am considered yellow but I think my hair is closer to white. I weigh about 85 lbs. My human mom has been sick for a while and I have been staying at the vet’s office for over two weeks. They told my mom “the treatment” wasn’t working and she won’t be coming home to me. I miss her already. I guess that means I need a new mom or family to love me. The sooner the better; please don’t misunderstand me, the staff here is nice but I want to be in a home again…be part of a family. I have always lived inside a house and just played in the fenced yard. I am housetrained but I must admit sometimes things I shouldn’t touch still tempt me. I love my toys and I think they are fun to play with. When you come home I get really excited and so they think I shouldn’t be around really small children. I have played at the dog park and like other dogs but I haven’t really been around a cat before so I am not sure what I think of them. I like food but it doesn’t always like me. I am allergic to some stuff in food and have a special diet. It’s not a big deal so you can buy it at a local pet store plus I get to take the food I have with me when I come to live with you. I get to take my bed too. I have been neutered, have all my vaccinations and am current on heartworm preventative. Do you think you could find room in your heart, home and maybe your bed for me? I hope so. They are asking an adoption fee of 150.00 to help cover some of my boarding expenses.
