Greetings world, I'm Tootsie.

I am a three year-old female Shih-Poo that weighs about fourteen pounds.

For those of you who don't know what that is I am a mix between a Shih Tzu and a Poodle.

That means I don't shed but I need to be groomed regularly.

That really means I am a wonderful, happy little girl. I wasn't always this happy you see I was rescued from a place called a puppy mill. I was used to be bred and raise babies to be sold to pet stores. But now that I am here there will be no more of that!

I am crate trained and I am learning about life as a regular family member. I have never been in a house until just recently and I haven't had a single potty accident. I really like living in the house and sleeping on the bed next to you. There is also a fenced yard here that I can run a play in for a few minutes too. Maybe you have a fenced yard and a warm place in the house for me too?

I like everyone I meet, furry or two legged. It is fun to talk to you about things and it's especially wonderful to be held and loved. I must admit my tail wags a lot and I hope that's not a problem.

I have been to the vet and had all my vaccinations, been spay and had my teeth cleaned & a bath. I tested negative for heartworms and started on preventative. They put frontline plus on me so I don't have fleas or ticks. I did have ear mites and those were treated.
