I am Ricky. I am so glad to meet you. At about three years old and weighing thirteen pounds I needed help from the rescue. Not only did I lose my home but I tested positive for something called heartworms. They said they are caused by a mosquito bite and I could die from them if not treated! So I am safe with the rescue and looking for a new family.
I had the treatment for my heartworms and am currently recovering. Man I hate being quiet while my heart heals. I have been leash walked to potty and need that to happen for a few more weeks, no really long walks for two months and then I will be free to run and play. I love to check out the yard and explore. I must admit my most favorite thing is you..well, and supper. Food calls my name. Hopefully you can appreciate a man who enjoys a good meal and snacks. I like other dogs and kids. I talk to go outside to potty and of course at meal times.
I am neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is 195.00. The first step in adopting me is to complete an application at www.dogsasfamily.org. I could be the new man in your life.
