ADOPTION PENDING
Hello, my name is Chief.  I am a pure bred white German Shepherd, pretty cool huh?  Well I came to the rescue after my dad went to serve our country and mom got sick.  I tried to stay with someone for a few months but it just didn't work out.  Honestly I lost a lot of weight and am thin right now for an 18 month old boy.  They say I might be 80lbs or so when I fill out.

I know sit, stay, come, down and shake.  I like to play ball but the best part is when I chase it and then we play chase together after I get it.  I can be a little shy when we meet, can I trust you?  If so I will protect you with all my might if a stranger approaches.  See I have a very big deep bark to scare them away.  I like to lean on you and give you my paw.  Rubbing my back or belly is wonderful if you would do it.  It just makes me melt.  I am still a growing boy and I do have energy to burn before I cuddle with you.  Maybe we could find things to do together??

I am neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is 200.00.  The first step is to complete an application for me, Chief at www.dogsasfamily.org.  I look forward to my own family to love and protect.
