Hi. I am Comet. My mom was a shepherd stray living in a neighborhood for about three years when she and her fur babies came to the rescue. I was only three days old then. Now look at me! My brothers and sisters have all been adopted and I am still waiting.
I am not too big and only weigh around fourty pounds. I might get a little bigger but not much, maybe 50 pounds? Personally, I like to explore and figure out how the world works. I watch what everyone is doing and love to play, give kisses and be held. I will probably be one of the smaller kids in my family and I am the only one that's all gold!
I really like playing with other dogs, finding sticks in the yard to chew on or toys to play with. I am a laid back, quiet boy who loves to cuddle up next to you or in a dog bed. I am house trained, can use a doggy dog and am crate trained too.
I went to a prison dog training program in mid August 2014. I will spend six weeks living with a prisoner 24/7 and learning alot. When I graduate in I will be house trained, leash trained, agility course trained and know my basic manners.
I have had three rounds of puppy vaccinations with wormings, my rabies vaccination, am neutered & micro chipped. My adoption fee is only 150.00.
Do you need a sweetheart in your life?? Pick me, Comet. Just fill out the adoption application at dogsasfamily.com. I can’t wait to give you kisses.
