Hello, my name is Teddy.  I came to the rescue with my brother Sammy after our family couldn’t afford to keep us.   I am a yorkie terrier mix and I weigh about 19 pounds.  I am less than eighteen months old.  I like my gold coat because it is soft and I don’t seem to shed much.

   Did you ever have a brother or sister that seemed to take all your parents attention?  Well that is my brother Sammy.  He pushes me out of the way when I would really like to see you too.  Yeah, he steps in and just rolls right over in front of me so I can’t get petted too.  My foster mom says I am a little shy but I am not afraid of you…I guess I figure you just don’t want to see me.  Do you?

   They say confession is good for the soul so I’ll confess I love treats and I don’t want to miss a meal.  Food kind of calls to me.  Under this fur I am boney and could gain a little weight so the extra treats would be fine with me, well that is if you want me to have them.
