I'm Licorice and it's nice to meet you.  I am about ten years old and I weigh six pounds.

   Have you ever gone through a rough time in your life?  Well at my age it has been a little rough.  First my family dumped me out in the country...they just left me.  After all those years I just don't understand why.  Thank goodness a nice lady picked me up and brought me to the rescue.

   Since I have been here I was neutered and had my teeth cleaned.  They even had to pull some of my teeth.  The doctor noticed I had a heart murmur too.  Then I was vaccinated and I had to be shaved because my hair was in knots.  Well, my hair is starting to grow back and I am settled in now.

   I am a good man looking for a stable and loving home.  I love to sleep in the bed with you or sit with you wherever you are.  I am housetrained and will cry to go outside to potty. Other dogs don't bother me and I love kids. I must confess,  I love food, and wouldn't want to miss a meal.

   Even though I am small I can play ball and I like to horse around sometimes.  My favorite time of the day is when I am with you.
