I am Lil' Buddy and I am just not so sure about what has happened to my life.  One day I was sitting with my mom on the couch and the next she was gone.  I did get to see her after a month or so, she is in a place called a nursing home.  I didn't like it there but I still love my mom.  I have to admit I am a little sad.

   I am not a youngster, after all I am over nine years old and change is not fun but they keep telling me everything is ok and they will find me a new mom.  I am a AKC papered chihuahua that weighs about ten pounds but who really cares about those papers when you have been neutered anyways.  Sorry, I don't mean to sound cranky, I am not really cranky...just lonely.

   I have always lived in the house and slept with mom.  I was housetrained until they left me for that month and I regressed a little but it is all coming back to me.  I do have a friend here at the rescue and his name is Little Bear.  He is younger and smaller and I really like to be with him too.  Maybe you want two little boys...adopt us both!

   They took me to the vet and updated my vaccinations, had my teeth cleaned,  I was micro chipped and neutered too.  So they say I am already to meet my new family.  Meeting new people at my age, yuk.  Can't you just hold me and tell me everything will be ok?  I hope so.
