Quincy, Quincy, Quincy, that’s my name.  I hope you remember me.  I am just a soft coated one year old beagle mix that weighs about 25 pounds.

    Do you remember how cold it was at Christmas this year in Oklahoma City?  Well I was outside in it and it was cold and wet!  A nice lady found me and tried really hard to find my family.  They never claimed me so the rescue said they wanted me.  Yah, I am wanted and it feels good.

    I like it here.  The food is tasty and I have met a lot of nice people and dogs.  I consider myself a quick learner and I think I have caught on nicely.  Maybe when you take me home you could teach me all kinds of things?  Man, I would really like to learn more things because a mind is a terrible thing to waste and I wouldn’t want to miss the treat that I get for learning either.

    I don’t mind sleeping in my crate at night or when you have to leave me at home.  One day I hope to sleep either beside you on the bed or the floor next to your bed after all I want to be your best friend.

    They took me to the vet and I was neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped.  They did a little extra surgery to fix an umbilical hernia I had too.  I am glad that big old bump is gone and I am all healed now.
