Hello.  My name is Cherie.  I am a female apricot poodle mix that is about two years old.  I weigh sixteen pounds but I think I look nice and neat after my grooming.

   I came to the rescue from a place that had a very angry man living there. He yelled and hurt us a lot and I learned to cower and not come to people.  I would like to change that.

   Although I am still is not sure about people, I am most comfortable having a little space between myself and humans. Can you give me a little time and space and still love me?  Maybe the sadness in my eyes will disappear then?  I hope so.

   I get along well with the other dogs and am a little afraid of kitties. Dogs don’t scare me and I watch what they do around the humans.

   I will approach you for a treat so it is best to let me come to you. Please don’t force me to do anything…that scares me.

   I am also is doing well with housetraining and I enjoy running and playing with my sister Addie until she was adopted.  Now I play with other dogs.

   I went to the vet and had my vaccinations, was spayed and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is 150.00. An adoption application is the first step in adopting me.

   Are you a very kind and patient human that can love me for who I am and with time I will trust again?
