Hi, my name is Lovie. I am a two year old female that weighs six pounds. I am a chihuahua mix. I was brought to a local animal shelter with my birth mom and sister after our mom went to a place where they could take better care of her. Sure we were all sad and didn’t understand at first…me I was terrified! I know it's time to move on and find a new family.
I am a scared, cautious little girl. I like other dogs and feel safer around them. It seems like maybe the family I came from didn’t treat me the nicest so I need to learn to trust you. I confess I will be nervous when we first meet. I like a fenced yard and I will play with some toys. I know I should be house trained but it scares me to go outside, maybe you will leave me? Maybe we can work on that together too. I am crate trained and that is a safe place for me to go. I will bark at strangers, loud noises and when I get excited but I will stop if you tell me to. No small children for me, adults only or much older children will have to be in my new home. I confess I appear to have been allowed on the furniture and will jump up myself anytime so if that is not allowed you will have to teach me not to.
I have been spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. I am also current on flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. My adoption fee is 250.00.
