Hi Everyone, My name is Clark. I am a male terrier mix that is about four years old.  I weigh 23 lbs and my coat is rough & kind of curly.

   I was at a shelter in the Southern part of the state and no one wanted to adopt me.  Do you think they can’t look past my eyes?  I will admit I am blind in one but I was born that way and it doesn’t both me at all.  Life goes on and I want to live it.

   The rescue here said that I could come and live with them so here I am.  They took me to the vet and I was vaccinated,neutered and microchipped.  I started my heartworm preventative and also frontline to prevent flea and ticks.

   I like other dogs, kids, people and even everyone at the vet.  I just like life…breathe it in!  It’s great to be here.

   Now, your saying hmmm, what else is wrong with this boy?  I will be honest and tell you I get excited to see you.  When I get excited a kind of nip at you a little.  I consider them kisses and would never want to hurt anyone but the people here say it’s not something I should do.  If you don’t want me to do that just help me remember not to, ok?  Maybe we could snuggle instead?

UPDATE:  I went into a 45 day training program in the Prison.  I  learned all my basic manners, housetraining and house manners.  I am so excited!

June 2012 Update:  I just found out I have a problem with my thyroid and I will be taking medicine the rest of my life.  No big deal to me and it will cost about 15-20 dollars a month.  Can you live with that?  I hope so.
