Hello. My name is Juliet. I am a female chihuahua that weighs about nine pounds and is three years old. I came to the shelter because my family didn’t want me…they would not even admit I was theirs. That explains why I was so thin and starving. The very kind people at the shelter called the rescue and they came and got me right away. Now I know that I can be loved and am worthy of being part of a family.
Life is good and I am a happy girl. I like other dogs and playing chase with them in the fenced yard is so much fun. I can run fast with these beautiful long legs. I am a quick learner and am willing to have you teach me things you want me to do. I know to potty outside but we will have to work on that because I am afraid you might abandon me. Toys are a new thing for me and I am up for exploring them. I came to the rescue at just six pounds but now that I am healthy I don’t want to miss any meal, treat or a drink of water now.

I am spayed, vaccinated, micro chipped and current on heartworm/flea/tick preventatives. My adoption fee is 300.00. The first step in adopting me is to complete an application for Juliet at dogsasfamily.org. This is it, my new beginning. Can you be a part of that?
