Hi, Hi, Hi, my name is Cooper.  I am about 10 months old and weigh around 80 lbs. I am a Bernese Mountain Dog, a breed of large northern dogs.  I can’t handle heat very well or I could have a heat stroke so please don’t read anymore unless you want a big goofy indoor dog.

I have had at least three homes already and now I am looking for someone who has the time, love and energy for me. 

I am so happy go lucky I don’t think about things before I do them.  I hope to out grow that but I also don’t want to get hurt either.

I live with all sizes of other cats and dogs and have no problem except when I forget how big I am.  And I love to play with everyone…oh, I just love to play!

You have to have a fenced yard for us to play in when we go outside.  You see I am a typical teenage boy and I forget what I am supposed to be doing.  I mean what if a pretty bird or butterfly went by, I might just forget you are there and chase it.  I will admit I have done it to a few cows on a ranch and the cows didn’t like me at all.

I have been doing well with my housetraining and would do better in a crate when you leave me home alone or to sleep in.
