My name is Sweet Pete. I am a five year old male that weighs less than nine pounds. I came to the rescue after I spend a long time waiting for my family to come to the shelter and find me. They didn't come and I didn't feel well so I am glad the rescue took me to help me heal. Now I just need to meet a new furever family.
I am a very easy going guy. I don't say much and like other dogs my size. Well, that is all I have really been around much. When I came I had lost a lot of hair and was itchy from flea bites or allergies. I feel all better and my hair is still growing back. I like to go outside and play for a little bit in the fenced yard and then come back inside to you. I am housetrained so you don't have to worry, we will just have to work out how I tell you I need to go. I love food and treats but I will love you more.
I have been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. I am current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. My adoption fee is 200.00. The first step in taking me home is to complete an adoption application at dogsasfamily.org. A home and family for me is a dream but you could make it a reality.
