Hi there, my name is Joey. I am about a year old chihuahua that weighs three pounds. I came to the rescue with my brothers Danny and Jesse after a woman called and said we didn't belong in her house and to come and get us. I don't know why my mom didn't want us anymore. I am a loyal loving boy. Are you looking for boy to carry and cuddle with? That's me!
I already love you. I will try to get close to you by climbing on whatever is nearby. Snuggling or sitting by you is awesome. I am great about going outside in the fenced yard if it is warm and dry but not so fond of other times. Don't get me wrong if you carry me outside I will do my business but I won't offer to go out if I don't like the weather. I will use a potty pad inside too. I confess, I am very scared of squeaky toys. I love other toys just not those loud ones. Other dogs are fine but no small children please. I like them but they could hurt me so easily.
I have been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. I am current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. My adoption fee is 250.00. The first step in taking me home is to complete an adoption application at dogsasfamily.org. If you are looking for a little man to love maybe I can be him.
