Hi, my name is Briana.  I am a four year old female that weighs less than 53 pounds.  I came to the rescue from an hoarding situation.  There were 12 of us loose on the property and I had pups every time I could since I was old enough.  One day someone came to visit and when they opened the car door to leave I jumped in...I just had to escape.  That kind woman called the rescue and here I am, safe and looking for a real home.

   I have been with other dogs my whole life and am ok with them or just being by your side is fine with me. Although I had never been in a house before I have learned to potty outside quickly and don't want to ever live in the yard again.  My coat is velvety and I like to sleep on the soft rug or a dog bed. I play with some toys but honestly I am just learning what they are.  I think I am a quick learner and want to please you so teach me and I will listen. I did come to the rescue with Ehrlichia, a tick borne illness and have been treated for that although I will always test positive now.

   I have been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.  I am current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  My adoption fee is 150.00.  The first step in taking me home is to complete an adoption application at dogsasfamily.org.  I would really like to be your furry family member.
