Hi, my name is Heath. I came to the rescue with ten other yorkies from a place called a puppy mill. That is where we are kept in cages and bred so our puppies can be sold. I am not a puppy at about five years old I have been a daddy to many others but now is my time to find a family and life of my own.
I went to the vet and had my teeth cleaned, was neutered, micro chipped, groomed and vaccinated. I am slowly learning how to potty on grass so I need a fenced yard to be in. It was strange to step on grass at first but I am doing better. I look to other furry kids to see what they think of this new life. I am not sure what you want when you pick me up but I have been told you want to love me...awww. I want to love you too.
The first step in adopting me is to complete an application at www.dogsasfamily.org. My adoption fee is 250.00. It will help cover some of my expenses. I dream of my new family, will it be you?
9/6/2017 My news…I graduated from a eight-week prison training program. I am papertrained and still working on house training, am leash trained, crate trained, know my basic obedience. I can still be spooked of new places or quick movements but I so want to be a good boy. Can you love me through the times you show me that I am worthy of your love and attention? I hope so.
